Charity Work/Activities
1. Reach for the stars project. This project was birthed in the wake of learning about needy students who face financial constraints even in acquiring the most basic of stationery to attend school. We started out with simply donating already used text books and novels to children’s homes. Then I thought about the other thousands of children in Kiambu’s primary schools that could benefit from this project. I teamed up with the Chairlady of Red Cross Kiambu Chapter and Reach for the Stars project was born. We have visited several primary schools and early childhood development centres (ECDs) in Kiambu while achieving the following;
a) Donating shoes (rubber shoes-Tomy) to the needy pupils.
b) Donating sanitary towels to the senior female pupils.
c) Mentoring the pupils and giving motivational talks about education, vision, discipline, courage and hard work.
2. Mater Heart Run 2016. It was overwhelming for me to have touched a child’s heart by participating in the Mater Heart Run this year together with my family.
3. Devolution Conference (Council of Governors) 2016.1 was invited to participate and attend the Devolution Conference in April this year by my County. It was very humbling to have been called upon to grace this conference. I also learnt a lot about the country’s position in terms of development, infrastructure and trade.

4. Mtindo Afrika.
This is a fashion show that aims to showcase different designs of Kenya’s
very talented youth on the runway and also display the immense modeling talent amongst our youth today. We started out with the Kisumu edition early this year and we are looking forward to the Nairobi edition that will be held in September at the KICC grounds.
5. Kenya Model United Nations.
I am the Vice -President of KMUN Maseno University Chapter. I was able to participate at the KMUN Conference that was held in UNON, Gigiri in March this year.
6. Purple Pearl Movement.
This is a women -empowerment group that was formed in Maseno University, where I study, with the aim of creating a safe haven for the female students who face tough situations and problems such as abusive relationships and rape.
